Aunque ambos agentes brindan remineralización, prevención de caries e inhibición de la
desmineralización, la hidroxiapatita se perfila como una alternativa más completa. Su actuación
multifactorial remodelación, reparación, protección y limpieza permite plantear productos que
prescinden del flúor sin perder eficacia clínica, adaptándose a diferentes perfiles de los pacientes.
