Inteligencia artificial generativa y pensamiento algebraico en educación matemática: tendencias, aportes y desafíos desde una revisión sistemática
Resumen
Bajo los lineamientos de PRISMA 2020, esta revisión reunió dieciséis estudios publicados entre 2020 y 2026 sobre inteligencia artificial generativa y su papel en el desarrollo del pensamiento algebraico. La búsqueda se apoyó en bases de datos científicas como: ERIC, Redalyc, Scopus, Dialnet, SciELO, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink y Web of Science, entre cuyas herramientas predominaron ChatGPT. Los hallazgos indicaron que estos sistemas favorecieron la resolución de problemas, la construcción de explicaciones y la retroalimentación inmediata, siempre que operaran como apoyo al razonamiento y no como sustituto de este. No obstante, cuando el uso se limitó a obtener respuestas rápidas, en cambio, surgió el riesgo de dependencia tecnológica capaz de erosionar la autonomía del estudiante. Los estudios latinoamericanos, en particular los ecuatorianos, aportaron evidencia aún emergente sobre la mediación docente, aunque persistieron limitaciones de formación e infraestructura. La calidad metodológica, evaluada mediante MMAT, resultó mayormente moderada a alta. Se concluyó que el docente sigue siendo determinante para orientar el uso pedagógico de estas herramientas. Quedan pendientes estudios longitudinales sobre efectos concretos en habilidades algebraicas específicas.
