Respuesta Inflamatoria de la Asociación de Obesidad y Dengue, Revisión de la Literatura
Resumen
El dengue es un flavivirus de la familia Flaviviridae, se puede diferenciar genéticamente en 4 serotipos que logran infectar al ser humano (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3 y DENV-4) y establecer manifestaciones clínicas con diferentes tipos de severidad, muchas veces las complicaciones clínicas de esta patología van ligada a factores de riesgo propios del huésped. La obesidad definida como IMC ≥ percentil 95 o porcentaje de peso para la altura de más de 120%, es un problema de salud pública por todas las consecuencias orgánicas directas que se desprenden de ella.La asociación dengue-obesidad desencadena una respuesta inflamatoria severa, que puede ocasionar, daño endotelial, tormentas citoquinicas, dengue grave e incluso mayor mortalidad. Realizamos una búsqueda de base de datos que asociaron dengue y obesidad, para lograr mostrar la respuesta inflamatoria y complicaciones de esta asociación.
