Recurrencia de Tumor Phylloides Posterior a Tratamiento Inicial. Reporte de Caso
Resumen
El tumor phylloides de mama o tambien conocido como cistosarcoma phyllodes es una neoplasia fibroepitelial poco frecuente, representando el 2.5% de los tumores fibroepiteliales. Con una incidencia de uno en 100,000 habitantes. Siendo el tratamiento de elección en los tumores phyllodes benignos es la exéresis de la tumoración con 2 cm. Como requisito los márgenes libres de sección, y en los malignos la mastectomía total ampliada es la técnica quirúrgica de elección. La recurrencia ocurre los dos primeros años con intervalo medio de 32 meses para tumores benignos y de 22 para tumores malignos. La necesidad de radioterapia en tumores benignos debe ser considerada en márgenes menores de 0.5 cm o en márgenes positivos después de la mastectomia o cirugía conservadora.
