Impacto de las herramientas de inteligencia artificial generativa en la productividad del desarrollo de software

Resumen

El desarrollo de software ha experimentado importantes transformaciones en los últimos años debido al avance de la inteligencia artificial generativa. Estas tecnologías permiten automatizar diversas tareas de programación, incluyendo la generación de código, la detección de errores y la documentación técnica. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar el impacto del uso de herramientas de inteligencia artificial generativa en la productividad del desarrollo de software. La investigación se desarrolló mediante un enfoque cualitativo basado en el análisis documental de artículos científicos publicados entre los años 2020 y 2024. La búsqueda se realizó en bases de datos académicas como Scopus, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect y Google Scholar. Luego de aplicar criterios de selección se identificaron 24 artículos científicos relevantes para el análisis. Los resultados evidencian que el uso de herramientas de inteligencia artificial generativa contribuye a mejorar la productividad del desarrollo de software al reducir el tiempo de programación y facilitar la generación de código. Sin embargo, también se identificaron desafíos relacionados con la calidad del código generado automáticamente y la dependencia tecnológica. Se concluye que estas herramientas representan un recurso significativo para optimizar el proceso de desarrollo de software, aunque su implementación debe complementarse con la supervisión del programador.
