Protocolo de manejo odontológico en pacientes con cáncer en la clínica odontológica, revisión de literatura
Resumen
Objetivo: Exponer las técnicas más actuales y seguras para el manejo odontológico en pacientes con cáncer reportadas en la literatura entre 2018 – 2023. Materiales y métodos: Se consideró una investigación de tipo descriptivo, cualitativa, con investigación bibliográfica, descriptiva de método inductivo, deductivos, histórico, a través de los buscadores Google Académico, Scielo, PubMed y Elsevier; que se publicaron en los últimos 20 años. Criterios de inclusión: Literatura reportada como máximo en los últimos 20 años, idioma inglés, español o portugués, disponibilidad de texto completo, estudios realizados tanto en niños como en adultos. Criterios de exclusión: Artículos que no estaban de acuerdo en el tema de la investigación, descripción del manejo de pacientes oncológicos durante terapias experimentales. Dejando 40 artículos que cumplen los criterios expuestos para su validez.
