Hemangioma Hepático Gigante vs Hemangioma Hepático Convencional Abordaje Diagnóstico y Factores de Riesgo: Reporte de Caso
Resumen
Los hemangiomas hepáticos son considerados un tumor benigno del hígado, son lesiones no epiteliales que se detecta generalmente de forma accidental como consecuencia de estudios de imagen por otra indicación. Un hemangioma cuyo tamaño es mayor o igual a 10 cm, es denominado “Hemangioma gigante” el cual por su tamaño puede llegar a condicionar síntomas, como dolor abdominal, síndrome obstructivo, coagulopatía. Los hemangiomas hepáticos son los tumores hepáticos primarios mas frecuentes, presentes en un 0.4-20% de la población general, de los cuales hasta un 10% de esos pueden ser un hemangioma hepático gigante. Traemos la presentación de un caso clínico con un hemangioma hepático gigante, de un paciente masculino de 44 años de edad del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro social, el cual contaba con características anatómicas no favorables para realizar un abordaje endovascular, se identificaron sus factores de riesgo y su abordaje diagnostico-terapéutico, en espera de trasplante hepático.
